Saturday, June 23rd marks the final installment of our three-session wine education series at Il Fornaio Irvine.
Advanced Sommelier Margaux Pierog from Folio Wines will be teaming up with Chef Burt one more time, to measure the terroir and taste of Napa and Sonoma Counties.
Learn the differences between a cork and a twist top, as well as a vertical tasting of vintages from these neighboring wine producing powerhouses at these wine classes in Orange County.
Due to the success of Il Fornaio’s wine education series, we will be continuing with a second segment of classes next month.
The “intermediate” series will be taught by Certified Wine Educator Tracy Cervellone from Wilson Daniels.
Tracy has been a wine educator for over 20 years and coauthored the book Paso Robles: an American Terroir.
Tracy’s class series will be held and the Irvine Italian restaurant beginning July 21.
Course topics include a vertical tasting of the regions of Italy, Prosecco and Pinot Noir and Italian Food.
