Il Fornaio Seattle is offering cooking classes designed to teach students how to make authentic Italian dishes.
Many already began this exciting journey on May 5th when they attended Chef Franz Junga’s fun hands-on class.
Inside in the restaurant’s kitchen, Franz showed his students how to create a variety of authentic Italian pizzas and calzones from scratch.
Equipped with aprons, roller pins, and the freshest seasonal ingredients, students learned step-by-step how to prepare the dough and the sauce and how to pair toppings for that perfect pizza.
Chef Franz shared the key secret ingredient to a mouthwatering pizza: Il Fornaio’s wood-burning oven.
Students got to play the Bakerman as they baked their pizzas and got to savor the fruit of their labors at the end.
